London Random Acts of Kindness

Helped an elderly or disabled person with their shopping or getting connected on their phone

stopped someone from crossing the street when a rogue bicycle went through a red light?

or have you been on the other end of someone’s kindness towards you

post it here

Thank you so much to the staff member at Benuego in Waterloo Station that found and kept my glove for me

i was so happy to go back there and they knew straight away why I’d come back and handed my lost glove.

I should get those strings that keep your gloves in place like children have on mittens 😂

who do you want to thank or have you done your own random act of kindness?

Thank you so much to the kind bus driver who waited for me and others en route to Wimbledon today

Simple thing but it can make the difference to your journey

Was sitting on the Victoria line today heading up to 7 sisters and a man got on sat two seats from me took out his glasses to read a paper and hadn’t noticed tjat he’d dropped his freedom pass when pulling out his glasses so I picked it up and handed it to him

we had a chat about that and he was really grateful

just a small thing but they are a pain to replace

he said he usually keeps it in a separate pocket but didn’t today. 😂

it was nice to be there to let him know

appare it’s National Random Acts of Kindness Day

The other day I helped a nervous woman into the escalator at Charing Cross Station

she was not moving and not getting on

so I talked to her

reassuringly and held her hand then also as she got off at the top

we had a lovely chat then I went on my way and guided her where to wait for her friend
